Sweet little bench….

May 3, 2011 | 1 Comment

Harlow's Bench

Though this project has absolutely nothing to do with either quilting or yoga, I wanted to show y’all this great little bench my son-in-law recently built for me. He crafted the bench out of MDF and then handed it over to me for the finishing touches. I primed and painted the bench white and then painted the middle section with chalkboard paint. There is even a little chalk holder up on the top of the bench! So smart. I had been saving some fabulous, juvenile vintage fabric that I purchased ages ago via ebay – and the fabrics’ time had come! Two seat cushions were fashioned from this fabric and I still have some leftover for a smallish crib-sized quilt.
