I was already having a pretty good day despite the fact that it was a Monday. But things rocketed skyward as soon as I checked my mailbox – there was a package waiting for me! Getting packages in the mail are like diving into a giant box of Bernard Callebaut chocolates – an endless bounty! When the packages are filled with fabulous, fun and flirty fabrics, I’m breathless.
Rushing and tripping, I get into my home and tear off the outer packaging. My heart skipped a beat when I saw what I had received from Fort Worth Fabric Studio. Hello beautiful!
Trust me when I say that over the years, I’ve received many fabrics in the mail – I love ordering fabrics online. Browsing through Quilter’s Home Magazine, I came across the most delicious fabric line from Robert Kaufman called Kiss Me by Suzy Ultman. I melted when I laid eyes on these fabrics! Sweetheart colors of red, pink and chocolate “kiss up” to all things LOVE-LY – baby owls and smooching birds; there’s even a key to your heart.
Putting down the magazine, a quick search on www.quiltshops.com and voila! the thrill of the hunt was over. This scrumptious fabric line was carried by Fort Worth Fabric Studio in North Richmond Hills, Texas. As any stash hound knows, some fabrics are simply must haves and after only a few clicks of my mouse, I knew these fabrics would be mine, all mine.
Fort Worth Fabric Studio enchanted my Monday. Not only are these delightful fabrics neatly folded and lovingly packed there are two little surprises in my package – hot cocoa AND a pen. Wow – definitely a quilter’s best guilty pleasure.
I love Fort Worth Fabric Studio. I’ve only ordered from them twice so far, most recently within the last week, and I just commented on their Facebook, last night, how nice it is to have the fabric order sent with the additional little goodies. It’s such a nice touch and it will definitely have me come back and order from them again and again. Plus the quick shipping is great!
