Good day everyone. Thank you so much for reading and following my blog.
Just today, I received some complimentary copies of the winter issue of Quilter’s Connection magazine in the mail. I’m so excited! I have one project and one article in this issue.
My project is a pillow which combines huck weaving and quilting. It can be found on pages 34-38 in this issue.
How many of you know what huck weaving is? Have you ever done some huck weaving? I’d love to see your projects!
The written article I have in this issue is called A Canadian Quilter in Russia. It’s on pages 32 and 33 of the issue; complete with some wonderful photos of Gail Heller – the subject of the article – and her surroundings in Suzdal, Russia. It’s definitely worth a read!
I’m going to be giving away a copy of the magazine! Just leave me a comment on my blog and that’s it – that’s all. I’ll choose one comment randomly and will send the lucky winner a copy of the magazine in the mail.
As many of you know, I have had my battles with IBS. Yesterday, I got word from mindbodygreen, that my article had been published on their website! It was my first time on the site and again, I was pretty darn excited. You can read the piece right here. (By the way, I did not have anything to do with the title of the piece!) If you suffer from the ups and downs of IBS, (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) you may find the article of interest.
So….thanks again. Leave me a comment and you will be entered to win a copy of Quilter’s Connection Magazine. Leave me a photo of any huck weaving projects you may have completed in the past – because I’d love, love, love to see them.
Take care
Kim
